I get my RFPF to build a dense nest out of feathers then remove nest, modify it a little then place in with Gouldians.

My BFPFs use absolutely no feathers at all. TC & RF both do but not BF. They do build a thick-walled nest, but totally unlined as opposed to TC & RF.

To get back to topic though, my Gouldians when brooding young generally share brooding duties very evenly between cock & hen.
