Do you have nest boxes in your avairys aswell? I have not had one nest in a wicker nest or brush for many years.

Hey Matt i think the other eggs are duds as they haven't hatched yet, Gomer they had a choice of gouldian nest boxes, half boxes and they choose the basket.

Well a update the baby gouldian is doing fine and both parents are feeding, the other 2 eggs are no good so i removed them today

Hi Steven the baby is doing fine with both parents feeding and sitting, i have a couple of other pairs sitting on eggs and should know bay the weekend how they are.

Did the eggs hatch Greg on weekend

I check one nest and nothing yet, looks like a few are infertile but i have three pair sitting on about 8 eggs each nest so should be hatching any day now

Hope it goes well for you keep us updated on how they go

Had a quick look in one of the nest today to find 4 gouldians have hatched and there is still 3 fertile eggs to hatch, out of 8 eggs laid
