I have some of that at home Sam. I used it years ago in the water.Cant really comment on it other then it smells.

I've not heard of it in water. I think the people I'm aware of feed it neat in D-cups or finger drawers, but I'll check to be sure.

My stuff is the same brand but in a liquid form. I will most likley poor whats left on some pot plants now you have reminded me.

Dried Powder form of 'Seaweed meal' is the best supplement to use when mixed in with Soaked Seed to assist in feather loss or feather plucking!
The results are amazing for any birds with FEATHER problems!!
As for the best type/brand i will check the type i have & re-post with an update!

Just closing the loop on this thread...
I ended up buying Blooms kelp powder from the health food store/pharmacy. My Gouldians really dived into it! I believe it made a notable difference, with large healthy babies born very late in an otherwise terrible breeding season. The adults must have been low on Iodine. Very pleased with this simple supplement.
