Cock is a Chestnut Flanked White and the Hen is Pied , if they are not split for anything else all the hen baby's will be Chestnut Flank split Pied and all the Cocks will be Normal split Pied and Chestnut Flanked .

I first started with Zebs over 50 years ago there the best thing for a beginner or the bengalese finch they in my opinion less aggressive, I still to this day keep both types on & off, have a look at my blog link below you will see some that I have had some nice birds.

Thanks every one for the welcomes much appreciated the little Zebs are going great and i am in especially good spirits as i have found out that a couple of my Peach face Lovebirds are able to produce some absolute gems the birds them selves are worth $30 each but in two generations will be producing birds that are worth $150 awesome. However i am not in it for the money as i couldn't get that price up here so would have to freight so i will just keep them for myself to admire. If you check out the other species section later today i will have some pics of some of my Lovebird mutations. :D :D :D

Hi Morgan,
Yes it looks like the hen is a grey pied and the cock is probably a Creamback. But I would not be sure that they are pure to this so you could end up with a real different set of combinations in their progeny.

I have read nswchainsaw's reply and believe he is more correct and the cock is probably aChestnut Flanked White.
