Mine when I had them were inclined to breed in low sites. Most successfully in a big bundle of grass on the floor in the corner of the avairy. They also did their best the year I had a bag of seed infested with weevils. I would put a dish of "Weevil seed" in every day and they absolutely loved it. So small live food goes down a treat.

If you make wire (chook mesh) baskets, fill them with a mix of green and dry grasses like couche grass and the Orange Breasts absolutely have a ball ripping it apart and making their nests
Mine tend to nest fairly high up in the aviary in wicker basket nests
