I mostly keep all mine single prs per aviary Same head colours together,And leave them like that all year.Taking the nest boxes out during the moulting period.I let mine breed when they are ready.And they get much the same diet all year,Except for seeding grass heads when available.I personally think for my area here,they know best when to and when not to breed.As they will not breed all year here anyway,Having mainly two clutches for the year on average over all prs.But thats what works here and may not work elsewhere.
