My new Aviary

Aviary is framed from external grade radiata pine, covered on all side with green plastic coated 12x12 wire, suntuff roof sheeting and to the rear we have over laid the wire on the inside with brush fencing to help reduce draughts and to give a more natural finish to the look to completment the bay tree we enclosed and the potted grass plants. The two internal supports are also wrapped in brush fence material with the cones attached containing varieties of nesting material. If your wondering the circular object to the right is a push bike rim with perches fixed to it similar to one I saw at a breeders aviary, the birds like the 'ferris wheel' and having rides. Entry way is through the twin door at the rear.

I have contemplated a Qual but with the new style feeder I put in this aviary the birds don't scatter anywhere as much seed as they did in the old seed dispenser.
