I'm not happy cause my Husband won't let me go

He says that we should just go with what we've got until after winter...

Sounds like I might have missed a good auction.
But not the weather that you guys have been having since. We got the start of it Sunday with thunderstorms and marble size hail to herald the first rain of the year. But I hear from my kids that you guys down there had hailstones from golfball to baseball size and the power is out over most of the city. Hope you all have had no losses as a result and all is well with your houses as well as your avairy inmates.

I would have loved to have gone to the auction, sounds like I missed some good buys... Yes the weather was horrible our street was like a river & the lawns looked like snow! Our avairy stood the test which was good as my husband built it!!

I'm glad that I got him to enclose the sides as the hail was coming sideways & hitting the side of the avairy with quite a force I'm sure if it was glass it would have shattered....But unfortunatley I got up this morning to find my male diamond firetail didn't make it.

The avairy stayed dry but it was very noisy with all the hail. I hope we don't have to many storms like that one our house is only 2 years old & even our roof leaked!!
