No leg rings, looks relatively healthy apart from needing a toe nail clip, have him in isolation cage at the moment to go through the quarantine period, then he can join the crew.

Very carefully with a pair of nail clippers. They are a bit overgrown but i have a small shell grit and sand perch in there with him and might not have to if they get worn down enough by it.

Johnp my goulds are buggers for having to have the nils clipped ...I dont know why but them and my Turks grow nails grow very fast ....just a pair of human nail clippers do the trick .

Not this one, might just study him for a few years, is weird coz i been looking for another male and one showed up. If it had been a female white breast would have been even better.gomer wrote:well done with the catch.no catch and release with that one i bet.

I once saw a Javan Munia at my aviary but considering where I live that's almost to be expected as there are lots on the rice farms close by however I long for the day a flock of green-faced parrot finches decent on my aviary!
