Well I haven't had the best of starts to finch keeping. After moving the 2 pairs out to the aviary. I week later found both the hens dead on the floor. I had 2 cocks out there to start with and now am left with 4 cocks and no hens!! The hens looked well not pecked or unwell looking. More than a month later the 4 males are all doing well but need hens for all of them.

Sorry to hear about your losses. There is a bird sale at the end of May in Skye, hopefully thats near enough for you to have a look for your hens.
