Ok so the bayer website says min 2.5mg per kg. I think my vet is rite. Hes done it for a 10kg dog tho so i can realy give my boy 8.75ml rather then 12.5ml.
Man its been confusing!!! Just check it out again its min 2.5mg per kg of dog weight.

yea diane a gomer its 2.5ml per kg of dog meaning that for a 10kg dog its 10 x 2.5mg equals 25mg needed. So apc moxidectinis 2mg to 2ml. apc equals 12.5mls to achieve 25mg of moxidectin.
Have a look at it. Its making sense now as bw is bodyweight and 2.5mg per kg. Sorry to bother you both! So gomer you could put 6mls on your dogs. Its alot tho hey!
Also gomer advocate moxidectin is 25mg per ml vs 2mg per ml from apc its much weaker then even half. And the apc has some kinda sweetener added for the birds lol my jacks neck smelt like black currant!! Hehehe
Got some peice of mind now tho and im confident also treated everyone fully to no ill effects at all guys. SHould buy a big batch of stronger mixed moxidectin i guess would need much less. No wonder my finches guuzzle it down so readily.

maybe if they start selling moxi by the 44 gallon drum I'll consider doing my dogs with it.
blue heeler & lab are approx 25 to 30 kg each
