Hey E Orix should i feed my tri-coloureds live food? or will they breed without it?

i have heard mixed reviews.

As E. Orix has said, I use them for my softbills using the same method he described, haven't seen the Tri-colours have a go, but the wrens love them, as do the Silvereyes and even the Scarlet Honeyeaters dart around catching them.
