Bushranger is not of the Ned Kelly variety although I do have a relative who came over to Van Diemans Land at the
Goveners pleasure.I also belong to a Prospecting Forum and use this name, I like to think that it relates to my
admiration of the Wedgetail and it's ability to roam the land.At this stage I don't have any finches but this will soon change
when the avairy is built.
Cheers Greg.

Hi Bushranger I know who you are! lol
, will be able to give you some Ghouldians (have 3 new babies) and some painteds when that avairy is finished. Also if This Africans breed might even have some of them for you. But you better get that aviary built soon as i'm getting rather attached to these birds and might be reluctant to part with them. All the best and thanks for keeping mne up on the articles i miss. ;)

Hi Rhett Green, Just remember where those Gouldians came from and also who gave you a small avairy on the
weekend for your Zebras,my large avairy is still on the drawing board but just about there.
Remember to always be nice to your Dad, you might need him one day.
Bushranger aka Dad.

Funny how the "bird bug" is inherited isn't it.
And of course we try to "infect" strangers too.

Hi Flab,Good to hear from you, you are a bit further advanced along the bird road than me but hope to get
moving soon. I'm going to the Finch Auction this morning, never been before so am looking forward to it.
I'm heading off in the morning for 10 or so days on my other hobbie [ Metal /Gold Detecting ] it will be the last trip
this year. Perhaps when I return we could meet up and compare notes , ideas etc ?
Cheers Greg.

We may be a little more ahead on the road than you as far as having an aviary set up, but sadly we are only just picking up the knowledge (I am a total newbie to birds and other half used to have budgies and canaries many many moons ago...). We have everything to learn, and some of it is the hard way,...
Would be good to meet up at some point. Will chat to other half (the birds are more his thing though I have the bug in a big way...!
