Without feeling it. Could be a fatty cyst, or a cancer lump, or no doubt several other things. Fatty cysts usually soft. Cancer lumps usually hard. Some people say feeding birds on grated beetroot helps reduce these, don;t know but as I haven't tried it.

Its soft in my opinion. Not hard. Will give the greens a go and see how he goes. Hope fully he will pull through. I may end up giving my girlfriend who is a vet a ring to see what she thinks. Thanks for everyones comments! Ill keep you posted!

Beetroot has an enzyme that will attack cancer cells only problem is it does it so well the cells break away and go into the bloodstream thus overloading the bird and killing it . ( not only birds , this has been found in cancer trials in humans)

Have put in some broccoli, celery, apple, carrot and cucumber. The lump actually seems smaller this morning and I observed a normal dropping come out. Crossing fingers!

Vetafarm used to do that - I think I got a message from them about 6 to 12 months ago that they may have stopped doing it though.

He still seems to be fine-eating normally, not going light, cleaning himself and bouncing around the cage. Deceptive little bugger. The lump does seem smaller again this morning. Am baffled!
