Sorry if I said anything to upset you , I actually know what a panic it causes when you see the giant poops for the first time and had I not already wormed mine( when I first saw them) I would have most likely done the same as you .... as I said this is how we learn .

Ditto, not telling you off.

Just mentioning, but as you say the weather is not always co-operative.

And we all have to go with the circumstances we find ourselves in.

Personally, I would also avoid worming while parents are feeding chicks as I would worry about the chicks receiving an accidental overdose of wormer via the food regurgitated to them by their parents...

here here mick! I have to put rasberry cordial in with it so the birds will take it! but i do believe it does the trick!

I'm with madhatter.. I wouldn't do that. If a bird really needed wormer, it would either have to wait (if it had young) or be separated to drink it.

........more coming, dont like poking fingers into nests......bloody wet here, lost 2 Stars as they flew on the worst day 2 weeks ago

......3 Parsons are fine, 1 seems underdeveloped but is being well attended

.........I'll be taking samples for the microscope as soon as it fines up.....the humidity is a killer

Congratulations. Glad all is going well. Bit on the warmish side here too. 37 today and 34 yesterday. But rain only comes at a cupful a month.
