Sorry for the late answer. I was having problems with my Green Singers. The hen was laying eggs, but... I couldn't get chicks, so the camera was and is the best way of monitoring and finding the solutions.flab wrote:Wow that is great! what is your reason for setting up the camera? curiosity or science?
After reading everything I was sure that the problem was the cock, but actually it was the hen. She breaks the eggs every time something wrong:
-no fresh egg food early in the morning -breaks the eggs;
-the cage light goes off, but she still can see because of the top light-breaks the eggs;
-light goes off when she was off the nest-breaks the eggs first thing in the morning.
