yellow can actuually be a white mutation, pure white bird not albino, black eyes. Can't be visually sexed, no bib.
I have had one once, but it didn't survive for very long.

what was so horrible about my previous post Jay?
I could just throw the excess eggs in the bin, would that be nicer?
to me it makes more sense to use the eggs for the other birds.

Other half wants quail for the new aviary , knowing my luck because Im not a quail lover they will breed to excess in no time ..The thought of boiling the eggs up for the breeding finches / parrots was kinda an answer to the problem for me .
If the eggs were removed asap they wouldnt be any different to a chook egg except size would they ?
Are they any different to the bluish quail eggs I see now in vegie shops ?
