havent heard bout teh geekos being pest but me dad is haven probs with bloody frogs in the avairy. killed bout 5 today in there and have actually seen them in the nests.

good food for kookaburras. what sort of gecko s are they, do you have a pic of the offender. most geckos are nocturnal so night time would be a problem...pete

its me again . what birds do you keep in the aviary.do you have enough nesting sites , it could be other birds kicking them out of the nest competing for nest sights...pete

I used to have frogs living in all my waterers.But when i started treating them the frogs have slowly disapeared.

never really seen the frogs in the waterers but manly seen them in the brush and and in the live trees

I could see them being a problem in the nesting areas.As for them geckos.I have seen them in Queensland walking up walls etc.So they would be worse than frogs i would reckon.

i think to answer this question we must first ask another...
what species of gecko are we talking about?
also, most frogs are endangered or in decline in one way or another. i can't see how any of the smaller species could pose a problem and any should be easily kept out with a bit of ingenuity.
no need to kill them.
