No I didnt have quails then good point Shanny , ive only had quail a couple of weeks and they do eat anything hey

You are dead right about quail and anything that moves Shanny. Mine love the mealworms, and aphis, and grubs. And the finches do too.

Mine will eat earwigs too. Freaks me out a bit to collect them, but Ive found a place where the earwigs hide, so with a large bucket (so they cant climb up before I get them to the aviary) and a small brush to sweep them into the bucket I can get quite a few for the quail. Its worth the collecting for the laugh watching the quail babies run around trying to get them all.
Bonus is you dont get the earwigs destroying flowers and young vegies.
