Do you have both Rainbow Lorikeets and Red Rumps? How are they housed?

For DNA sexing make sure you use blood (just prick the toe) and not feather. Feather sexing is unreliable – a waste of money.

Yes he has them in separate aviaries ...I dont know Shanny Im sure some old time breeder would know a way but DNA is the most reliable method .
If your not into pricking the toe just trim a toe nail a tad short then scab it with corn flour .

its ok deb its mum's lorrikeets and i made a deal with her if i get them to breed she will pay me half of what i make from the babies and 28 days of waiting has come to a end thank god.

Rainbow Lorikeet males are definietly bigger than hens.......heads broader, body bigger, but really difficult to tell with just one.....easier when you have a group to look at and compare with each other..................they will also perform courtship dances/rituals......if yours is hand tame, they will do things that daddy lorikeets do to mummy lorikeets .....on your hand, foot.....or anything....

Patience with your redrumps......sounds close.....leave her alone, she'll chuck the egss and start again if they're all clear.....or they'll hatch and you get to wait another month or so

i have 1 baby grass parrot i am gonna give her and the male alot of greens and the male has been eatting egg and biscult today he walks around eats then to the seed tray then the egg and biscult dish and water
