Wild Bird Mutations

I've seen pied Blackbirds on a number of occasions.

I can fairly close to the Noisy thing within a metre so will try when i get a chance.

I have a pied crow living around here but never have the camera when i see its and always too far off.I also had young butcher bird that had grey feathering instead of the brown that juveniles have.That young bird was blind in one eye and i dont think it would have survived.

They always know when there's a gun around,so I have heard.perhaps its the same with cameras ? anything that shots they have a sense of.

I see your pied crow and blue budgie and raise you a white Yellow-tailed Black Cockatoo ......complete with beautiful yellow wash cheeks and tail feathers........has been spoteed for years around Wauchope, especially the Golf course and the Forestry Commission Office carpark ;) ......havent seen him for the last two years though.......saw it feeding young once.....

We've got a couple of light brown Magpies around here. Think the Cockatoo wins so far though.

well. there is a magpie in lathlain that is smokey grey where the black should be and blue 28 s near elcabello road house but i raise your white yellow tail cocky with a yellow 28 that my mate at the ag deptment shot in donny brook thinking it was a ringneck all the green was yellow the pic was amazing but it was back in the darkages just as digital came out so no pic to be found much to mate mates disgust...pete
