Bran substitutes for growing mealworms

Thanks for the input Wellingtoncdm. My new mealies I have set up with oats that have been nuked and so far so good. I have kept them seperated from my other set up to see how it performs.
My other batch that was infested with mites seems to be recovering and I will continue to try them on nuked bran and see how that goes.
