you dont need real dark ones to breed them finchbreeder , I had them and now my dad doe's and we have had almost all black birds give off crappy ( in the sense) charcoals and these offspring can give off really good black ones . I guess I little like the red zebbies in that you get the better looking birds from the splits mixed with a pure.....pete

Without looking at a website i believe the Florida Fancy is similar to our Isabel.

Very dissapointed with this years results. Put my best boys to split girls. Full body colour carcol fawn cock to (possible) split blackfronted fawn hen. All chicks visually normal fawns. :raspberry: Dilute blackfronted cock to sister of the above cock. A big fat zip. Don;t they know Zebs are supposed to breed like mice. :sob:
