The Double bars certainly made an impression. Lovely little birds. Will be getting some myself next time there are young available.

The yellow stars look great, must admit never really liked them but the ones in the pic are very nice.

Lovely red front on the emblema too. One of the boys I bred last year has quite a lot of red when compared to his brothers, not as good a front as yours though. I will be on the lookout for a lady friend for him at the next couple of sales.

the yellow bodied stars are fantastic,what a credit to aviculture.unfortunatley,i have never come across this mutation yet in the uk,and if i did they would prob cost in excess off a couple hundred of ££££££, :lol: i want some

gotta say though, I'm not a fan of stars, and ones with yellow bodies.... eugh from my perspective :D each to their own

Nice birds and pics. That star is a mutation I could go for. :thumbup: And the Painted has great red continuity from chin to chest. :clap: Sorry to hear you lost a couple.

Thats a part it takes a while to get used of keeping finches, is the heavier losses compared to keeping other animals.
