Not much difference between Western and Spotted BB`s, a common backyard visitor and they seem to be going well in suburbia, well Alice Springs anyway.Doubt if there are many in captivity but they`re very intelligent and great mimics.

They do an excellent chain saw impersonation .

Well it definitely can't be Paradise Parrot, Dubbo is way to south from their known range, some say there are still some birds around Hughenden so far no proof! Is it native or exotic?

You may as well come out with it now Deb. You know we're not going to let up until we eventually winkle it out of you.
My money is on some kind of cryptid (the fabled Yowie for example) or a big cat - leopard/panther/whatever...

OK and just so you all know I wasnt the only one to spot it .
I reported it to the UNSW and the professor who replied to my letter assured me I wasnt seeing things . We actually did a sketch and since the only other one I had seen was in an old black and white newsreel and mine differed and was more realistic for a healthy specimen he believed my sighting .

OK well here goes .... Im ready for the flack .... Thylacine ...Tasmanian Tiger .

Was the biggest thrill of my life as far as spotting wildlife is concerned and seeing it twice in the same place was icing on the cake.

Well there you go ... Like Ripley says " Beleive it or not "

Yeah, my Uncle saw one, and then came back the next day, casted the foot-prints, and they were Tassie Tigers...
