no desertbirds I never bred any. they were bred in Canberra though, and the aviary was plastic-ed in in cold/windy weather.
go for it deb, you won't regret it :D

It is a little more work and money to have one.I suppose you need to look at what you can get out of a license. Numerous native animals you will be able to keep.But not worth getting i think, for one specie only,Unless you want to get a few different ones down the track.

Id like some of the smaller Lorrikeets at some stage too and of course those Red Brows are on the wish list ( love them ). We will see what happens .

The problem is I have been licensed for a couple of years but didn't get my book back on time which had them threatening me with suspension , that and other issues of birds that I bought from unlicensed dealers ( not knowing they were licensed birds )that they didn't bother to check up on .

I kinda spat the dummy and let my license expire plus wrote to them and well yeah .... :roll:

As I said we will see ...... :D
