Other than that, what colour gouldians were they selling, please don't tell me they were selling blues or I'll shoot myself, cause I was planning on going.

i had my eyes out for blues trust me! but no there wasnt any. today i got two RH WB GB cocks and one RH WB YB cock. there wasnt really that many gouldians but still all my birds were from different breeders. lots of other finches tho.

You'll have to come to the wagga show in June, that's where I live and trust me they alwas have blues there but silly me I didn't even breed gouldians last year but desperately wanted to but hadn't built an aviary yet, and they had about 20 selling for $220 a pair.

I didn't think there was that many finches on sale ...there were a lot more parots. There were some gouldians (WB, YB and normal...no blues)..a few different people selling plenty of parrot finches, and I noticed one guy selling a few good looking diamond sparrows.....there were a few other sellers with cut throats, plumbheads, javas, cannaries, etc. Can anyone tell me what sea green parrot finches are worth...I bought a SG hen and a possible split cock for $60....both are pretty nice looking birds....another guy wanted $180 for a pair of sea greens...so either i got a bargin or the second guy was dreaming...I suspect the later...cheers, Paul
