If they don't get large quantities of livefood they will throw out young but generally the more live food the more young reared. Is the livefood supply plenty & regular?

Hi there Tiaris
Yes the livefood is fed daily and they get plenty. Cutthroats have always been a pain to raise They breed like flies hatch chicks but not many are good parents

Hi there finches247
Thanks for letting me know that you have them too. Its good to hear. Mine is the same as yours then as it has not moulted out its color and came out the nest in color. Do you know if it is a sexlinked, recessive or dominant mutation.
Do all your cutthroats raise their own chicks or do you use fosters.
Thanks Henry
