nesting material
o ok, i am buying a new small aviary to put my young finches in about 2m sqaure if my mum will let me do u think i should?

You could extend it cause that's what id do but if you want to put a cage there that's fine

Swamp grass is good with feathers, hession bag cut and striped is also a good thing, but one of my birds favouites is long stem grass which costs you nothing just go out to the paddocks and pick it, make sure it hasn't been sprayed with chemicals. As for the zebs and mannikins it strange that they haven't bred, is there enough nest boxs and baskets, my mannikins have even bred in Canary nest pans.

yes it is, well i have 4 cane nests an i have 9 breeding boxes an do u have eney birds for sale an do u know how to present it to them?

Sorry no birds for sale as of yet still working out what I need for this year, and when you said how to present it to them I assume you mean nesting material? Well I've mage a large wooden frame with wire on the bottom- kinda looks like a large square Canary nesting pan- i put some material in there and scatter some on the floor.

Cheap and effective. Use a peg or 3 and peg it to the wall. Thinking about you problems getting Bengos and Zebs to breed. How many birds do you have in the avairy of each type and how big is the avairy.
