My two local libraries dont have any finch books at all, when I first started out with finches it was the first place I went to. After asking the librarian it seemed that all the finch books were "lost"poitta wrote: libraries are the best place to start if you like it

However I know that some clubs purchase these books and loan them out to members. The Barossa Bird Club does this.

we actually used to have kingston's old book in the library... that didn't last very long
