Under normal circumstances yes, But during the colder months they use so much energy keeping warm that the diet must be adjusted, oily seeds extra calcium etc.

Mate it was at Cessnock,it was my first time going to a bird show/sale and my last,don't waste your time.
Find local breeders in your area.
