Ab's Finches wrote:yes cock birds... although i did just get breeding boxes off ebay so i might want to start breeding them for the first time. So i might decide to get a pair of goudlians and cordons.
I'm planning on putting the more expensive and delicate birds in the breeding boxes in the garage away from the cold etc.

and no i don't have an add in the wanted ass yet...if they don't have red brows at the bird sale then oh well..i'll live
I can help you out with cordon males, i have an add in the for sale section if you wanna check out details, if you have any questions about them let me know i'm happy to help.
I'll also be at the melb sale looking forward to it. :)

i've been the last two years and found its pretty good. i'll be there this year, no doubt impulse buying as usual!!

i find species like gouldians, cubans, cordons, ruddies, strawbs etc are always in plentiful supply there.

this year i'm hoping to buy some young OB pairs, some saint helena hens and possibly a new pair of cordons. hopefully i'll be able to keep it at that!

Ok that's good i want be the only one there, unfortunately i was to late with the cordon sale. But i am interested in buying a breeding pair of Cordons and Gouldians. Hopefully we can get together and have a chat and look around together because I need someone with buying experience to help me out when purchasing etc! I'm looking forward to it.

Do you have to bring you own cage to put the finches in? i do have one just not sure weather to bring it or not.

I'm planning on getting there at around 10.30am hopefully at that time I'm near the front of the line to get in so all the good birds don't go... hopefully we can meet then.

Hi Ab's Finches,

Yes you will need your own carry cage for any birds purchased...there is normally 1 or 2 suppliers of carry boxes...singles normall $10 and doubles about $15...these are cheap and great for a couple of pairs of finches...cheers, Paul

were can you get those carry boxes from Paul? i only have a breeding cage which you can carry around...I'm thinking it might be a bit to big to carry around every were. and it's all open so the birds would get spooked easily.
