Ben at enfield produce in sydney they have scarlet chested parrots , turquois parrots and elegant parrots for $100 a pair and burks for $50 a pair.

The best price I've heard of around here is $100 EACH. And I can't find that deal right now. The best I can find is $275/pr...and I'd have to drive 8 hours to get them!

it may only be the situation out here ... hens are like hens teeth (hehe) no seriously if the opportunity for a spare hen arises and if you have the room then grab the extra girl .

It took me forever to find a hen and then the only one I could get was a sea green (given to me so cant complain).

Now for the sad confession ...before the days when I used leg rings to keep tabs on my birds I accidentally sold my hen which left me with my boy and his son :roll:

Guess who rings all her birds now ?

Theres a lesson there . :D

Ha Ha. Ouch, that sounds like something that I would do. Bet that hurt.
