They are best suited to indoors and small cages .

Have not come accross the Staffords. Am a gloster person myself and love the fifes too. What are the main differences,between the glosters and staffords as there are obviously a lot of similarities?

To get a Staffords you cross a Gloster and a red factor to get the crest then keep putting the crested ones back to red factor , it takes about 4 years to get the full red colored Staffords.

Picked up a Staford Mosaic from nsw chainsaw at Castle Hill sale,great looking bird and a top whistler.I might have to get him a girl friend soon....
