so fincher is the tonic basically high oil seed? when would you give it to birds? thanks. :)

Basically the same for me about 50ml of codliver oil to a 9 litre bucket of seed during the cooler months.I also add niger, linseed and rape in the mix.But they are one of the seeds that come back around more in the winnower. also niger in the chitted seed.

I have tried yor tonic seed Fincher, but didn't know what was in it.Last time I came out there wasn't any on the shelf, but will know for next time to ask. For small numbers of birds think this is better for me than buying the individual seeds.

yes flap all high oily seeds would feed it in the colder months. gomer we used to put the cod liver oil in the mix but found it used to make the mix go off while sat on the shelf so customers can just add it in the mix themselves
