Nathan you will need to learn that some people stretch the truth to get a sale!! This is the kind of thing this Forum is here for, ask questions, There are a lot of experienced breeders on here.

I am only new to breeding finches, but all the info i have got tells me that putting to many birds in a cage/avairy ect will put stress on the birds which will lead to fighting and health problems..
The best advice i get is from this site,i have made lots of mistakes but i hope i have learnt from them.

definatly not big enough for four pairs Nathan, it could hold four pair of zebbies but no breeding would take place. A good way to look at it , is to get three mates and go lock all four of you in the toilet , you will have no room to move freely, just like the birds . Like Buzz said (cant believe I agree With him :D ) sales people will tell you just about anything to get a sale....research my boy research. But it should make a good sale cage when the time comes to sell some....pete

Also i research before i get any birds/cabinets ect.
When i first started i wanted Gouldians, longtails but people on this site said i would be better to start out with easy to care for finchers like Zebras,Society, canarys and thats what i have.
When i get lots more experience i will get the more fancy finchers.

The fella at the pet shop has taken advantage of you Nathan .
Can you take it back for a refund ? or are you happy to just have 1 pair in there ?
We have all been told some whoppers by people trying to get our $$$$ from us . It pays to research and ask questions before buying at times and as said we are always here to help you .

It's a really nice cage,
It's like the ones you see in the pet shop only bigger.

Thanks Nathan

The cage could hold 4 pairs as a temporary holding cage for a while, but for breeding it's only suitable for 1 pair of finches.

If your not sure, post or search on here before you buy birds, equipment that way you get advice before maybe buying the wrong thing.

OK well you can make a nice little home for a pair of finches in it then .
Cant see them not being happy in there . Good luck and dont forget photos .
Don't forget to ask before giving away your money to pet shops OK ...we will help you as best we can .

Oh are you into woodwork ? Maybe you could build your own cages . Something to think about .
