Deb for the prices of the blue face parrot finches here in Vic I would pay 50-70 a pair, mosaic canaries would be around about 50 each, red rumps (7year ago) paid 60 a pair so now maybe 80pair and that's a normal a guess maybe 60-70 each for the grey pieds but only a guess. Princesses normal I was paying 150 for a normal pair but these as you know can change from state, stock amount and time if year. If these are birds in which you want the only advice on price is if your happy to pay that amount then its a win for you as your happy with the price and birds, I've paid more than the bird has been worth if I'm desperate.

Not at all, I know what you mean, I save all my change in jars and add the money from the cans (I take them back so I get the cash

) its surprising how it mounts up.

I have a money box on my computer desk which I top up regularly ... comes in handy .
This year I asked for $ instead of presents for my birthday...dont need any more dust collecting glasses declaring that I just turned 50
The hair has been coloured at home , no new clothes this winter , a few birds sold here and there and those cash in hand jobs that pop up now and then ..little bits here and there and before long its a substantial amount .

BF Parroties.....as said $50-$70/pr
Purple Crowns..........$180pr-ish
Like Tiaris said......almost no chance of being able to visually assess "pure normal" Princesses.....you would have to exercise patience and source someone whom you can trust has had them since year-dot and does not play with mutants
