Got a 1 kilo bag from Birds r Us today . $6.00 not too bad at all .

I have heard the painteds put in their nest to help absorb any moisture that may be in the nest

I wouldn't be using any treated pine only thing that gets burnt is red gum and the occasional tree. Might be time to give the old pot belly a bit of a clean I be thinkn.
