Hi Spanna, ABK has a damaged stock of this at a reduced price atm, might be worth seeing hw damaged these really are.

Try the Red-Chested, one of the smaller, not to difficult to track down, not as flighty as the bigger ones, not too dear, about $250-$300 a pr, more of a challenge than Littles, about the same as Black-Breasted. Can be left in pairs, or run trios in seperate cages.

Painteds are by far the most outgoing, taming nicely - mine come to me in the morning. Black breasteds are nice by very messy. Of the smaller, littles are the quietest, redbacks the shyest.

Thanks for all the replies folks. I'll be keeping my eyes and ears open for now, and doing some more research. Hopefully I'll find some soon and have a crack this spring, if not, then after spring will be the bets time to find young!
