That sucks :( wow and so close to fledging too? if your aviary is covered would it have gotten that low in there too? none of those little blood sucking mites that come out at night to feed on nestlings I gather? :(

The temps in the aviary are always a good few degrees warmer than outside with the blinds. That's the aviary I have the temp guages on, one probe inside and one probe outside.
Haven't seen any creepy crawlies, boxes were Coopexed and dried before putting them in as was the aviary and the parents treated with Moxidection plus well before any nesting activity.

Well, I'm in a better mood about it today, no use dwelling on it, its done....onward and upward. :)
