I was collecting ti tree brush one day holding a branch in one hand to support my weight and a saw in the other. A bull ant decided to sting me on the foot and of course, natural reaction is to give it a whack.....with the saw! Made a mess of my foot and always make sure I wear shoes in the bush now.

So far, the only thing that has 'attacked' me was the black berry bushes :)

I saw the biggest Brown snake I've ever seen last summer while after grass seeds. Another time I had inch long bull ants crawl on me and start biting me 10 mins later while I was driving home. After much rain the usually easy creek crossing was flowing quite quick and now 6ft across. So I opted to try scaling it climbing on some springy branches that went right across, I got to within about a foot of dry land and leapt off and the branche's spring flicked me face first in the water.
