Thanks. What you describe is exactly what I've done. He appears slightly better today and no symptoms in any other birds.

As per usual I have to wait for the snail mail to bring me some triple c ... quaranteen is under way for what looks like an injury but being a new bird one wouldn't know .

This topic was timely and very helpful as I was planning a vet trip , the triple c gives me a less expensive option ...fingers crossed it works .

Heads up on the triple c ..other half is off work sick and in fear of making it through the night so kindly offered to drive the 3 hour round trip to Parkes to get some .

Fear of what you may ask ...fear of being suffocated by me because of his coughing snoring and even worse whingeing ...Suck em up big fella its just the flu .

Deb that is very insensitive . .

He may well be suffering from a very serious condition . . the 'mancold'
