Mine are the same Mack, some u can sex some not. I think it depends on the local climate how and when exactly they colour up.

Mine are only just starting to show any serious colour now. Most have no more than a feather or two on the head.

Most of ours have probably 70% colour now, other than the ones in the last clutches which are only just starting to get dots of colours.

Here we are a month after the photos were taken & my 2011 young are still well behind the ones in the photos. Just getting a few hotter days now though which were totally lacking up until now so that should push them along a bit.

they have coloured up well ,good size on your birds you are on the right road
in breeding good blues cheers flavio.

Thanks Flavio, last year was my first season so I'm pleased with the results.
The YH Split Blue in the first two pictures is the one I'm going to pair to the YH Blue hen I'm getting from Tony.
