Such a pity that some rules are taken more notice of than others but. Rules say no flecked heads, but some filthy birds are considered great. Don;t get it. If they are the rules why are they ignored? Love violets. Particularly in pied. But then I love Aussie pieds. AMCA 2013 bird of the show will be Golden Faced. You will hopefully see some great violets amongst those.

Hey AMCA26 if you manage to breed some violets I would be very interested, my all time favourite colour and tend to be hard to find

No problem maz. Will keep you up to date. They tell me you get better Violets from a pair of Cobalts. Which i have 1pair and threw me 3 Cobalts in first round. But 3 of the Violets i bought should be Hens hopefully so they will be paired up to some Cobalts next season i guess.

Better Violets come from better birds. The colour is less relevant. Though if you want double factor violets you need violet to violet or violet sky.
