My pair are getting more comfortable with me looking in the nest. I was able to get this picture & I have counted four chicks. Was looking to see if they are getting properly fed, all appear to be about the same size.

The adult doesn't seem bothered at all. Fingers crossed for the chicks for you.

Both of the parents are really cool with me being about the nest now. I really would like to get these babies used to humans, possibly finger trained.
Here is a couple of pictures on day four.

Just noticed the babies are now making a squeaking noise, they are developing & growing very fast.
Noise = food baby birds & baby humans are exactly the same

To my knowledge the babies are doing well & parents are feeding the sacks around there necks appear to be full. The babies only make noise when mum & dad are around otherwise they are very quiet.
Any pointers & information to help there well being would be greatly appreciated.

Things seem to be progressing well. Have you offered them any greens? That is all I would suggest.

Well day six & babies are getting fat, so the parents are doing a good job for first timers. Might also be the good quality egg / biscuit mix I got from Nunawading birds. I have never been able to get my birds to eat greens or fruit. They just let it sit in the dish, so I started buying Trill Nutrivit seed every other time. My birds do seem to prefer they eat it like lollies & they are way more active. So it must have something in it.

My babies are very fat one is getting more food then the others & is larger, signs of feathers are appearing. But what alarms me is there lack of movement, sometimes I here them calling out but softly. Every check of the nest the babies are in a different position & the parents don't mind me looking. At what day should I expect the babies to make movement ? I am expecting something like you might see on a nature program.
