 Hi, welcome to the forum.
Sounds like you might be as addicted as your husband, not many partners would go out "grass hunting"

Hi Di,

I must admit that it is my maternal gland that feels the need to help the mumma birds who seem to be feeding soooo many babies.
It does also save my husband time in the morning so he can spend a bit more time with our little ones. :)

Welcome to the Forum. The bird in your Avatar is a Cordon Bleu. My mother started out helping my dad with his birds, and 50 years later she has hundreds of her own. So there is considerable hope for you. From another country gal.

Welcome to the forum Desertbird and yourself had better get behind me as I am the grumpiest of them all. Its got to be the country air or the city slickers that come up and try to tell us how to live.

Thankfully it's ages Natamambo :P
The number of occupants in the aviaries is more of a quantity kind of number
Exciting news though because there is a new baby cheeping sound I haven't heard before coming from one of the nests in the outside section
Looking forward to seeing the new sound makers over the next few days....
