Its like the old question do you believe in other life forms on other planets ?
scientifically it is unproven but it has been once proven here. Its beyond my understanding why we would be the only ones,But I think its possible there are others.I guess alot of people think different. Some things just cant be explained others are wishful thinking.

Scientists have found a planet in a habitable zone orbiting a star(sun) 600 light years from hear. Catalyst posted a link on Facebook http://www.abc.net.au/news/2011-12-06/e ... ed/3714358" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; . We are definitely not alone in the universe ! . But we may be the most advanced form of life ?

I cant explain it but it has defiantly some merit. It seems to work with only a small group of people only.A few people I have showed swear by it now.I use a heavy sewing needle and cotton wool.Next time you get some birds DNA ed do it first with the needle and see if the results come back the same.I have done this a few times and got 10 out of 10 right.Because it cant be explained and has no scientific merit,I use it as a last check on everything else I have done first with sexing. There are many monomorphic birds that are sexed incorrectly,Using this has no negative effect on these hard to sex birds. And hey if you are enjoying what your doing go for it.

P.S I tried water divining once on a property I did not know and found all the water pipes this way.Maybe I am a good coin tosser ?
P.P.S I never win at gambling and dont believe in it.
I had an old mate that was adamant that this method was the ultimate. I visited his aviaries once to see cock cubans paired together and a whole aviary of cock zebra pairs. The string doesn't lie - but glasses help with the accuracy

A few years ago I tried this out on a pair of young Eclectus. An assistant brought them in one at a time with a sheet over them. Turns out the red one's the cock and the green one's the hen. So I've got a real special pair. And even stranger still, it's the cock who always sits on the eggs!

I have seen some people do it and they are constantly opposite to me.When I do it the cock being a straight line back and forth and a hen circular. With them the exact opposite constantly.

For what it's worth, I was surgically sexing parrots one day. One of the onlookers said that he could sex the birds with a ring on the end of the string.
First bird- we agreed. 2nd bird the same. 3rd bird the same. This went on for 7 birds.
He laughed and said to all: "why are you wasting your time surgically sexing your birds when I can give you the answer?"
Over the next dozen birds his grin progressively turned into a frown, his face got redder, and he quietly removed himself from the room.

He got 7 out of 19 right.
If he'd stopped after 7 he would have had a 100% record.

As E orix says, you have a 50% chance of being correct.

Maybe some people have a sense for these things- but I'd rather trust my eyes and endoscope any day !! :D
