Well they seem to be feeding by them selves and hardly bother mum or dad

There doing great Steven, there are 3 nest of gouldians with 12 babies between them and in the same avairy there are a pair of long tails sitting on 7 eggs due to hatch next week, will get some pics in the next cople of days

How are the babies doing and what about the other I was wondering what do you feed the parents that they breed so well I had my finches attempt to breed but the never manage to get through the second week the babies hatch and they always let them die I wish my finches where good parents as your and if you can share something please P.M. I wish I could spend all day with my finches bu high school is a lot of work and have the gotten their adult feathers
This is what I do daily
Change water
clean seeds
give veggies/fruits
what else can I do so they can become successful ??
they also get plenty of sunshine

Hi Reg, i don't do anything different to you, make sure you worm them every 3 months and give them time, and what size aviary do you have

I'm not to sure but its bigger than me Its pretty big probably 50 finches or more can fit and fly without hitting themselves they have a heat lamp and light a lamp for the bugs too

How many finches do you have in there and is the aviary inside or outside

an outside and 6 finches
