We've just put up our second aviary about the same size as yours.
We have two pairs of gouldians and a pair of zebras in there. And a pair of quail on the floor :)

If you have a liking for a monomorphic species of finch 3 pairs of those are a good idea.

i'm doing the same thing looking for similar birds in vic, i searched the net for finches but useless so i joined this forum to source birds.
