Hmmm I like Stanleys ,Crimson Rosella ,Regents , Superbs so far .

Sorry deb can't answer that all I know of are eastern and western. If you get a pair you can call the male Stanley if you wish.

Major mitchells...my absolute favourite Aussie parrot, soo pretty and lovely temperaments and quieter than the other big cockatoos :)....OK so thats one of my dreams lol, can I have my fantasy by default through you....please I just dont have the room!

I hate to shatter your dreams maz but Majors can be buggers, really nasty towards the hens and as far as pets go they arent the best natured cockatoo either.

Know a fella with breeding pair of MMs ..to feed them or do anything in the cage at breeding time he has to suit up with protective cricket gear , multiple jumpers , helmut , gloves and milk crates to hold the birds in while he does whayt needs doing .

Nah pass on MMs lol but yes gawjus bird .

lol I know all about the suiting up from the galahs lol....bike helmet and full coat in the middle of summer just to clean out the water ....the pet ones I have met have been lovely and gentle though.

Both good choices and regents in particular need to be more widely kept. Both species have nice natures.
